Wow
Can I say thankyou for all your kind messages. I'm coping, just.

Once mum's funeral is over I think I'll feel better. I'm trying not to feel sorry for myself as I hate being miserable in front of my children. They and my partner have been a great help and so have you lot.

Thanks again and I will get back on when I feel better.

Hey ho!! LOL

Oh Chris, how can you not feel sorry for yourself in the circumstances?
Just remember we are all with you in spirit and sending positive thoughts to you to help you through this awful time.

Lots of love and hugs,
Doreen xx

Hello Chris

Sending you love at this very sad time.

It's terrible losing one parent, but to lose both mum and dad in such a short space of time must be unbearable.

Don't think that you can't show your emotions in front of your children, they are probably bottling up their feelings in fear of upsetting you. Crying is not a bad thing, it just shows how much you love them.

Thinking of you all.

Love Paula x x x

Well I'd just like to say thanks for all your good wishes. I'm back at work and trying to get on as normal.

I have to start on Methatrexate soon and am not sure how I'll react to them. so that's the new worry. anyway I'm one of those people that doesn't dwell on stuff too much so onwards and upwards.

Take care all.

Dear Chris

Sorry to hear of your loss, and everything you've gone through.

Just picked up on this thread- I'm with you on this one. I lost my dad at the end of April. His funeral's on Thursday and to be honest, I don't know how I'll get through it.

Like you, the sulf is no longer working for me, and I'm due to start on Methotrexate. I actually saw the nurse practitioner the day dad passed away. I wasn't able to start it until I'd had blood tests to make sure everything's ok. Everything is, but have decided to wait until after the funeral, in case of any reaction. I must admit, I'm rather apprehensive, but if all is ok, and it helps, then I'll have to go with it. The nurse was very thorough and helpful and I feel I'm being looked after.

Let me know how you get on

Maria x
